Writing

I grew up in England but have lived half my life in Turkey. I am passionate about my adopted country whose stunning landscapes, rich culture and fascinating history make their way into much of my writing. I also love the language and as a qualified TEFL teacher have spent the last twenty years helping people learn Turkish.

As well as teaching, I run a hotel with my family and spend any spare time walking in the mountains, reading and, of course, writing. I have always loved words and creating stories but apart from a few articles in an English-language newspaper, I have not shared much of my work.

Now I have two novels that are ready to be sent out into the world. I hope you will enjoy reading them – and sharing my journey to become a published writer.
