I grew up in England but have lived half my life in Turkey. I am passionate about my adopted country whose beautiful landscapes, rich culture and fascinating history make their way into much of my writing. I also love the language and as a qualified TEFL teacher, have spent the last twenty years helping people learn Turkish.

Aside from teaching, I have been busy with the family hotel, where I got the ideas for some of the characters in my books! When I have the chance, I like to travel, hike in the mountains and read. And, of course, write. I have always written things but it took me a long time to feel ready to publish my first novel.

Now, with a second one out and several more works in progress, I am so happy to finally be fulfilling my dream!
